Have you ever been so thirsty and you needed to drink water? What did you do?

I bet you either grabbed sachet water or bottled water or you fetched a few cups from the water dispenser bottle to quench your thirst. All of these are examples of packaged drinking water.
Packaged drinking water is water from any source that has been treated and purified and then put in packages such as plastic bottles, sachets or pouches for consumption.
Types of packaged water include bottled water, sachet water and water dispensers.

Why do we package water?
Water is packaged for different reasons:
1. To keep it safe until you are ready to have a drink.
To make it portable and easy to transport. Imagine going to school with a cup of water in your hand. There is a very big chance that the water may likely spill or get exposed to germs and other particles.
For proper storage. We can store bags of sachet water and packets of bottled water because they have been packaged properly.
These are some of the reasons why we package water. Ensure that you drink only trusted brands packaged by standard companies that adhere to all the water treatment rules and guideline.
Do not purchase or drink leaking sachet water or bottled water whose seal has broken.
Drink quality packaged water always!
